MyFintech Week 2025 will return from 4 to 7 August in Kuala Lumpur, coinciding with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and a broader push for regional collaboration in financial innovation.
This year’s event will examine how technology, regulatory developments and evolving social needs are shaping the future of finance.
The MyFintech Week 2025 is jointly organised by Bank Negara Malaysia, the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB), the Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

Themed “Ideate, Innovate, Co-create: Shaping the Future of Finance,” the third edition of MyFintech Week is set to bring together regulators, industry leaders and innovators from across ASEAN and beyond.
The programme includes masterclasses, hackathons, and policy dialogues focused on artificial intelligence, blockchain, open finance, Islamic and social finance, and digital resilience.
Among the featured speakers are Bank Negara Governor Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, Securities Commission Executive Chairman Mohammad Faiz Azmi, Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Eddie Yue, Monetary Authority of Singapore Managing Director Chia Der Jiun, former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, Ant International CEO Peng Yang, AEON Bank CEO Raja Teh Maimunah, and economist Andrew Sheng.
The event aims to strengthen cross-border policy alignment, support ecosystem development and foster responsible innovation.
It also seeks to reinforce Malaysia’s role in advancing financial inclusion and digital transformation across the region.
